6a. Heaven’s wall

Through the door

Unfamiliar room

Remembered smell

Cleansing waters, delaying fire

Briefly

My weight on the edge of no one’s bed draws you closer

I’m gravity

You’re shaking

Smile trembling

Then you’re peeled

Revealed

Soft scents, warm

Thick

You shiver

Upward tilt

Mouth on mouth

Sliding skin

You melt

Unlock

That moment, bodies suspended

Past zero point

A gasp

Tightly clinging

Gently rocking

Not so gentle

Climbing

Colliding

Waves

Sweet violence

You bring me back

Down

Then we drive

Home.
