Turn! Turn! Turn!

Loose the blood-dimmed tide

Things fall apart

Sometimes in cascades

Falling down like monsoonal rains

Or blue ice from a high-flying plane

We struggle to keep our heads intact

To Keep them at all sometimes

Reaching hopefully for a hand

That too often isn’t there

As that rough beast slouches by

No star to follow

It’s a dark ride, baby

But I’m carrying a torch

And I know your heart is burning too

Like a bonfire in the night

Let’s huddle in, little darlin’

And make a little somethin’

To keep the cold from weary bones

Maybe we can’t hold the center

But we can hold each other

We can still do that.

Words and image are my own.
